My Name is Shana Nelson. I was born in NYC and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I graduated with honors from New York Tech. However, while in college, I was a press photographer at Theater Pizzaz and continued my studies in Film and Television Production. As I worked as an Audio & Visual Technician, Supporting, Meta, Google, Barnard College, and the Federal Bank of New York City. I've been freelancing as a photographer.
My art Style is derived from a mix of chic and abstract. I'm a conceptual photographer who likes to create a story with the photography I create. Whatever the vibe is, I go for it. My photography was featured in Aland, OHTNYC, As well as fashion magazines Artells Magazine, Moevir Magazine, Cover Photo for So Lovely Magazine, Mob Journal, Penida Magazine, L'Amour Spain, ROIDX Paris, SELin Magazine, and others.
For the people who are wondering. Why is my Name called "Dissm1ssed"? It's a word of endearment. Nothing more, nothing less.
